BARN OWL

i am not happy with my camera, unfortunately slr camera is much costly in India.however the best camera is one you carry with you-Ivars Kraft was saying in his post with i- phone photos.
THE BARN OWL IS ONE OF THE MOST WIDE SPREAD OF LAND BIRDS.THEY ARE FOUND ON ALL CONTINENTS.
THEY ARE FOUND MORE ABUNDANTLY IN OPEN WOODLAND,HEATHS AND MOORES THAN IN FORESTED COUNTRY.
THEY USUALLY ROOST BY DAY IN TREE HOLLOWS BUT HAVE ALSO BEEN FOUND IN CAVES,WELLS,OUT BUILDINGS OR THICK FOLIAGE.
THE HEART SHAPED FACIAL DISC IS WHITE WITH A BROWNISH EDGE,WITH BROWN MARKS AT FRONT OF EYES.MALES AMD FEMALES ARE SIMILAR IN SIZE AND COLOR.FEMALES ARE MORE DENSELY SPOTTED.
THEY ARE GENERALLY NOCTURNAL(this photo is at about six in the evening).
